JUST A HEADS UP ABOUT RECORDING

1. Record in a quiet space
Because this is 100% remote recording, audio quality is critical. Background noise is the enemy of great audio quality. Recording in a quiet, non-busy space would be ideal.

2. Wear headphones
Wearing headphones stops any distracting mic bleeding or outside echoes. The recording platform does have the option to record without using headphones, but the quality of the sound may suffer. Earbuds are acceptable too. Please don’t feel like you need to purchase fancy headphones or equipment.

3. Be Present
To fully immerse in the conversation, it’s best to turn off all notifications on your cell phone and computer, including any additional applications and tabs you may have open. Doing so also helps mitigate the risk of the computer crashing while recording and the microphone picking up any unwanted sounds.

4. Be You
This is audio only. Don’t feel you must dress professionally or look a certain way. I want you to feel comfortable in your way so we can get your most authentic thoughts.
