Brittany Cox joined the award-winning economic development team at Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives in August of 2022. She formerly served the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a Senior Project Manager for the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. Her current responsibilities include promotion and development of economic development opportunities for the 16 owner/member rural electric co-operatives that represents over 46% of Kentucky’s geography serving over a million Kentuckians.
She works alongside of a dedicated team to facilitate industrial growth and retention opportunities across 89 counties to attract new jobs and investments, and find solutions to retain the existing businesses in the communities they serve. Her passion is Economic Development but her professional life comes in behind her primary role of being a proud Mom to her [10 & 6 year old] daughters! Brittany is a proud Alumni of the University of Kentucky 's College of Communication and currently lives in Lexington.
