Carolee Wenderoth

Carolee Wenderoth joined EDA in September 2021 and currently serves as the Tribal Engagement Coordinator. In this role, she is responsible for fostering Tribal knowledge of EDA programs, increasing internal capacity to work with Tribal communities, and advancing stakeholder engagement.
Ms. Wenderoth, a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes in western Montana, began her federal service at the Minority Business Development Agency as an Expert/Consultant to the Office of Native American Business Development and served as an advisor to the agency on Tribal affairs.
Prior to her federal service, Ms. Wenderoth was the Tribal Lands Department Head for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, responsible for the land use management of 1.3 million acres making up the Flathead Indian Reservation.
Ms. Wenderoth has a Bachelor of Science degree from Montana State University. A native of Montana, she resides in Washington, DC.
