Carrie Kelly has been Managing Director of the Site Selectors Guild for 1.5 years. She is also the Founder/CEO of Pick It Up! Management & Consulting and has a long career in economic development and nonprofit management. Before the Site Selectors Guild, she was the Executive Director of the Arizona Association for Economic Development. She led renewed advocacy efforts for the organization and developed the first long-range strategic plan. She earned two Gold awards from IEDC for Economic Development Week marketing efforts for the state. She also served as Executive Director for Downtown Santa Barbara, leading economic development and advocacy efforts for members. Carrie fell into economic development while working at a law firm in municipal representation and policy development. A graduate of Indiana University with a B.A. in Art History and a Master of Public Administration, Carrie has been celebrated as A Most Influential Woman in Arizona and Person to Know in Economic Development by AZBigMedia, and Women Achiever and Public Policy Leader of the Year by the Arizona Capitol Times. Carrie likes spending time with her daughter Rowan Flynn and dog Charlie Barker. She is an avid concertgoer and drummer, and her 2025 resolution is to finally take up beekeeping after years of putting it off.
