As President and CEO of Global Location Strategies (GLS), Didi sets the strategic direction of the firm, ensuring it lives up to its mission of matching companies and communities for mutual, sustainable prosperity. Under her leadership, GLS has become a world leader in site selection and incentive negotiation services, earning recognition on the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies list twice. With over two decades of experience in location strategy, particularly in large manufacturing and heavy industrial projects, Didi’s career was shaped by a pivotal internship with Fluor Daniel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, leading to her leadership in spinning out the site consulting practice that became GLS. A proud member of the prestigious Site Selectors Guild, she was its first female chairperson and currently leads the REDI Sites initiative. Her accolades include being named one of the 50 Most Influential People by Greenville Business Magazine, receiving the GroundBreaker Award from GroundBreaker Carolinas, and being recognized as one of the Women of Influence by SC Biz News. Didi holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Clemson University and an international MBA from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business. Fluent in Spanish and a dual citizen of the United States and Australia, she shares her life with her husband Eduardo and their four children, Ricardo, Gabriela, Gabriel, and Jonas. Whether traveling for work or pleasure, Didi enjoys catching baseball games and taking long, scenic runs wherever her journeys take her.
