Sue Matton, CEcD

Sue Matton is Development Director at the North Country Chamber of Commerce in Plattsburgh, NY where she has been employed since 1995. Sue’s responsibilities include:

• Regional Strategic Economic Development including foreign Direct Investment and Business Retention
• Management of the Industrial Council
• Oversight of the Chamber of Commerce OJT, Senior OJT, SCORE and Small Business Services Department
• Marketing of the new Plattsburgh International Airport
• Grant Coordination
• Coordinator of the Quebec-New York Corridor

In addition, she serves on the Regional Workforce Development Board and is Chair of the local BOCES Advisory Council. She is a Certified Professional in Human Resources and a Certified Economic Developer.
